Experience Heading

Whilst at university, I’ve spent my time gaining meaningful experience through live project briefs, extracurricular activities and, recently, freelance! Now, I’m eagerly looking to the future for my next opportunity…

Industry Insight: Live Briefs

As part of my education, I’ve had the opportunity to complete live briefs delivered by brands (Craghoppers, Aromatherapy Associates, PlayerLayer… to name a few!). These projects have been incredibly insightful, as I’ve experienced working on an industry-standard brief and how it is structured, as well as learning how to produce an actionable output. My work for some of these briefs can be seen in the link below!

Freelance

My freelance journey unexpectedly began in 2024. In February, I was approached by someone who asked me to create a logo suite for their textile brand, ‘Isla Usher Textiles’. Despite the fact that this was new for me, I didn’t hesitate to say yes- particularly as I’ve gained a deep appreciation and passion for branding over the last three years!

Vice President: Fashion Revolution

Sustainability has, and will continue to be, a core value of mine. This is reflected in all of my work done as part of the committee for the Fashion Revolution Society, of which I’ve been elected for two years in a row. Being on the committee has led to so many amazing opportunities, and it’s been a great way to encourage the foundational beliefs of the wider Fashion Revolution movement.
